It’s Up To Us
In 2020, we experienced the devastating consequences of global crises as our leadership failed to meet our basic needs of health, safety, and well-being. As our vulnerabilities were exploited for leverage to further enable corporate greed, we found the key ingredient to save ourselves – our democracy.
What We Stand For
Alexandra Hunt is a public health researcher, a girls’ soccer coach, an advocate for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice, and an organizer fighting for the 3rd district of Pennsylvania.
She is a daughter of two teachers and a sister to a twin brother. Alexandra’s twin brother grew up with a learning disability. Seeing the systemic obstacles her brother faced inspired Alexandra to become an advocate and challenge barriers on the basis of race, gender, class, and ability.
Alexandra is running for Congress on a progressive platform because she believes our politicians should fight for systemic change, ensuring equal opportunity and justice for all.
Issues We Care About
A better world is possible – one with healthcare and housing for all, a sustainable climate, millions of dignified jobs, and a culture of inclusivity – but it will take all of us to stand up together and fight for it.
Not only is this a style of governance we need, it’s one we deserve. Our progress is proportional to our courage.
We can’t wait any longer.
